Period after moving to formula

I am currently weaning from the boob to the bottle and i was wondering if any of you lovely ladies had done the same and if so how long it took for your periods to return?

Was pumping for about 4 weeks after she was born. First period arrived when she was 9 weeks... ended up pregnant again after period number 2 (but that bit's not strictly relevant to the question...)

My last boob feed was at 6 weeks and I got my period today at 11+6 weeks

Hi,

Unlike the others I started cutting down a month ago (down to one bf a day now) and got my AF a week ago. However they can start to come back around 6m pp even if you are ebf so I'm not sure how related it was. Was a bit of a shock!!

I am still breastfeeding and I got my period back a couple of weeks ago at 4 1/2 months. this was exactly 4 weeks after we went on holiday and my mum did night feeding for me for a few nights so I could rest for a change. For some people, it doesn't take much of a drop to kick start a cycle, for others their period takes ages to return, is purely luck I think!

It took about 7 weeks for mine to come back after I stopped breastfeeding.

ETA: came back really irregular though! I had the second period about 2 weeks after the first! And then didn't get the third for another month and a half!

I'm now giving more and more bottles but she's always had the odd one so i've never exactly ebf, i thought id have a period as i started to bf less but still haven't had one, which isnt helping my paranoia of getting pregnant again, which would be the worst thing that could happen to me right now lol

Looks like I'll just have to wait and see then. I don't want a period but at the same time I want to get back to normal if that makes sense
