Period-like cramps in lower uterus at 28 weeks?

Hi ladies- please help.

I am 28 weeks and experiencing sporadic period-like cramping in my lower uterus (not in the stomach). It has only been every now and then and only lasts a couple of seconds and goes. It just feels like period cramps and maybe a 3-4/10 as far as pain goes..

Have been monitoring feotal movement and that has been completely fine.

I have period cramps with my braxton hicks. Does your stomach tighten? I would call your MW if you are concerned. However I have had this since mid 2nd tri and everything is fine. Forgot to add that I get them more when I'm dehydrated, so try drinking a bunch of water and see if they go away.

I've been getting these alot in the past few days. Mainly at night too. I thought maybe it's because I had been on my feet alot lately. I have heard a few ppl say that sometimes they had some BH that felt this way too. They keep me awake at night sometimes and I can't hardly lay flat and get comfy because of it.

I think it's stretching? I've been getting these too... Growth spurt?
