Period like pains in back

I've woken up today with period like pains in my back, lots of what I think are Braxton hicks and pressure in my bottom ...what's going on

I've had it all day and it's really uncomfortable

It's probably the baby lying in an awkward position. I get this a lot and if I manage to lie down (naps are hard to come by in our house!) then baby can normally change position and I feel better. Alternatively a hot water bottle normally helps.

I had big episode of this, i put it down to baby wriggling its head into my pelvis.
