Period pain but no period

Hi, I posted on hear the other day about unusual bleeding, to cut a long story short, after I had my baby 6wks ago my bleeding stopped after 2wks, all of a sudden a few days ago I had a tiny bit of brown blood, very light and I only noticed it a few times after I went to loo. the day after I had a tiny tiny bit of red blood, it really was a little bit like pin prick size and a watery red, it was only there the once. The next day a tiny bit of brown blood was back. Now its all completely gone again but I now have period pains, it feels like im due on any min, I have lower abdominal pain going round to my back. I have had this for a few days. I am so worried something is seriously wrong

Hi sweetie, I would nip to your GPs just to make sure, I had swabs taken as I had the same and my GP thought some placenta might have been left. Turns out there was nothing at all, just prolonged bleeding and everything is fine now with periods back.

Wow...I actually had to check who posted this because I thought I had written it and forgot that I did! I'm in the EXACT same situation, right down to the same weeks that things happened. Overnight I started bleeding a bit more heavily (actual red flow for once) but still only really see blood when I wipe. I have a dr. appointment in an hour to get it checked out. I'll let you know what she says!

So, my doctor said that this is my period starting back up. She did another pelvic exam and found everything to be totally normal. She offered to send me for an ultrasound but really felt that they wouldn't find anything so I denied it for now. She did end up giving me something for the anxiety it's all causing!

Thanks beneli that's a great help, feel a little better now. My hubby booked me a docs app on Monday cause he knows how much im worried about it. I am a born worrier, anything like this happens and I automatically think the worst. Been putting off going for a while now but hubby has finally pushed me to going. I am hoping mine is just the same as you and its my periods starting up again, been getting more period pains today but still no actual period but no more blood either. Never had this first time round which was why I am so worried. Thanks again for your help
