period pains vs implantation pains

i have 31 day cycles and on cd 19 i had sharp pains in my cervix which is a usual "ur period is coming" sign. but im on day 30 today and nothing. my question is can implantation and period pains be the same. im desperate

My imp pains were on one side, kind of low and achey, and at 8 dpo. my af pains are more in my middle uterus area and they feel more like cramps than an ache, and usually come either the day before or day if Af....but every woman is different. it might be a bit late for Imp cramps, but do you have any other signs that af is coming?

i had the cramps on cd 19 and today im on cd 30 and still trying to wait a few more days
