Period while EBF and on mini pill?

I think I'm having my period. The flow is SUPER heavy, definitely more then spotting, there's cramping and I'm peeing a lot. I'm 18wks PP after my second child, by c-section this time. (First was vaginal) I started the mini pill at 6wks and my DD has never had a drop of formula. I didn't EBF w/my DS for this long so I'm not sure if this is normal.

With my first, I was on the mini pill and was breastfeeding and got my period a week after I started the pill. It was heavy and I cramped a lot as well.

I wasn't on the mini pill but I got my period back about 6 weeks after my c section, and my daughter didn't get any formula either.

Felt a bit cheated!

I was on the mini pill after my first child and my first period was terrible. Very heavy and painful. All my periods were that way on it.

Its possible, some women do start their period while EBF, sometimes they just don't ovulate though, or they also ovulate. It could also be a side effect to the mini pill.

With my DD I got my period back at 6 weeks PP, we were EBF till 14.5 months.
