PEVA instead of PUL?

Has anybody ever heard of PEVA being used for nappies instead of PUL? The reason I ask is because I have a shower curtain made of it and I want to try making my own nappies without spending any more money! I've googled it and seen that some plastic pants (Gerber ones) are made of it, but can't find anything else. Any ideas anybody? I'm going to try it anyway, unless somebody tells me it's dangerous or something, but would like your input!

i dont see why it wouldnt work hun, only thing is i would be very careful washing it !! and i would make sure none of it is touching leylas skin just incase she has a reaction or it irritates

Thank you. Yeah I'd be careful with it (no tumble dryer to worry about anyway!) and I'm hoping to only use it in the inside rather than having any of it touch LO. Fingers crossed it works!
