Phantom itching

The past few days my cut site has started to itch a lot. I try to scratch it which achieves absolutely nothing because the area is still completely numb and I can't feel myself scratching so I can't satisfy the urge.

Anyone else had this? It's so frustrating. When will it go away?

I had this, its so annoying. It will go away eventually, it does take a bit of time and goes gradually. My boy is nearly 7 months and i only get a little itch once in a while now and the feeling is coming back slowing. Its worse in the first month or so after the c section.

Yeah, I agree with the pp. I had it really bad the first month, and by the 2nd it got much better. Now, in the 3rd month, it happens only a couple of times per week. I think itching is a sign of healing, not true?

They told me I was itchy because I was healing. Needless to say I developed a rash from hell. Put cream on it it does help. I also used aloe on it that helped too
