So my husbands friends are getting married this weekend. Right in the middle of my worst morning sickness. I am having a problem. I am absolutely terrified that I'm going to have to throw up in the middle of their wedding. What happens if I can't make it to the bathroom in time? I'm seriously freaking out. Its making me not even want to go. I just wanna crawl in a hole until 2nd trimester. Do you girls have any tips?

lol not much u can do hun. bring a bag just in case hahaha I carry around 2 bags just in case! you never know when it will strike. so far hasnt happened to me but just try to stop freaking out about it. also, it helps to always have water and crackers or something like that to curb it.

I carry round a bag, water and mints! Havent thrown up yet but also paranoid I will in some random place. I find the mints help lots x

I've taken to carrying a sick bag with me wherever I go. I was at a wedding when I was five weeks- threw up all night and had to leave early because I was so tired. People will understand- don't get too stressed, which I know is hard, but is really the only thing you can do if you really want to go to this wedding.

I use empty ice cream tubs! They are really useful for being sick on the go, especially in the car. You can just throw up in the tub, put the lid on and drive on! It stops the car from stinking and you can just throw the tub in a bin!

I'd take a couple of tubs or bags and sit near the back in case you need to pop out

Haha things you never think you have to do...ever...carry around plastic bags to throw up in! Haha!! The things we have to go through. I'm just hanging on to a thread of hope that maybe my B6 and Zofran will help me. And Megan, I plan on taking some kinds of snacks, not sure what yet, I have realized that being hungry makes it so much worse so maybe if I can just stay on top of it, I won't throw up. I haven't gotten sick for 2 days up until now but I just think baby didn't like the cereal.

I have to go to a wedding too on Saturday. Really hoping I don't feel like crap. So far I've been feeling okay, I get nauseated every now and then but it passes quickly. Hopefully that's the worst it'll be for me!! I really don't know what I'd do if I couldn't make it to a bathroom :(

Thats what I'm so worried about. I guess if I can't make it to the bathroom I better hope that I can at least make it outside haha.

i've taken to making sure I'm always by an exit no matter where i am. That way I can sneak out quickly and don't have to crawl over people. I haven't gotten to taking a bag but I throw up pretty regularly and I can usually feel it come on so I make a break for the bathroom. Every once in a while it catches me by surprise.

Honestly if you're feeling bad I don't know that I'd go. I send my husband places by himself now cause I know I'll just feel awful and want to go home when he should stay so I just curl up on the couch.

I so can not wait for this to pass.

Do you 100% have to go? If I had a friend who was meant to come to my wedding and I knew she'd be extremely uncomfortable and worried about being ill I'd never expect her to come in a million years. See if you can get out of it, unless you really want to go.

I mean I want to go and my husband really wants me to go and I think he would be pretty upset if I didn't. The wedding is 2 hours away from where we live and I don't think he wants to go by himself. I guess I'll just stick to an exit :) And again, stock up on B6 and Zofran and pray that gets me through, who knows I might even be feeling better by this weekend

I had this same fear this weekend. My DH’s cousin got married this weekend and I was terrified that I would get sick. I carried crackers, mints, and a plastic bag in the hopes nothing would happen. I made sure I knew where the bathroom was and that I could get out of the ceremony easy. Fortunately, I got through the event with no issues.
