Physiological hernia

I had my first trimester scan yesterday and the sonographer mentioned the word physiological hernia and requested i return again next week - has anyone else experienced this? I was 11 weeks 6 days yesterday and apparently by then this shouldn't be showing...i'm a little worried

Thanks, hopefully it's just that the bub is a bit younger than intially thought and hasn't quite reached that stage of development yet. Also, the scan wasn't clear as it was a TV scan and the baby wouldn't move to get a better picture. Hopefully it will all be ok next week when i go back.

My bubs had this just gone 11weeks, had another scan at 13 weeks and it was gone, i got really worried about it too but apparently it is really common and harmless

Thank you so much - you've really put my mind at ease. I kind of wish the sonographer hadn't said anything until she knew for sure at the next scan - oh well!
