Can anyone suggest any good pick me up films to watch when going through a break up??

Or anything I can do to fill my nights while lo is in bed? I talk to my best friend on the phone most nights and go on here and facebook but after that I just sit and think and tend to get upset etc..... hopefully that will soon pass and ill get back on track. But in the nights its the hardest because that when it would be me and ohs time and if he wasnt here we would be on the phone or texting........ I need to get my mind off everything. Any tips? :hugs:

:hugs: no advice because I am feeling the same at the minute, I was fine when me and FoB first split but I'm feeling it more these past few weeks for some reason
Will be stalking this thread to pinch ideas :hugs:

Yeah I know what you mean, I didnt want it to ever come to the end between me and him but it had to and I was doing ok, but he came round last night for an hour to drop some stuff off and ive been thinking about him ever since and tonight im finding it really hard

:hugs: sounds a bit like me and FoB..didn't want to split but the arguments were getting silly and it wasn't fair on Lucas, I'm always fine until I see him, or hear something about him (we work in the same place with mutual friends so he's often involved in gossip or stories)
Get out your favourite chick flick and some chocolates..or have a pamper evening, facemask on and block the rest of the world out :hugs:

I love pamper nights :)
Ive just been sat here ordering some girly DVDs for me to watch over the next few weeks to come :)

my nights are filled with trying to get out of housework hahaha

.patrick swayze always takes my mind off things lol :P

Thankyou, I will take a look at those films :hugs:

Before me and oh split I had just started to do a uni course with the open university and I am so far behind, I feel like I want to do anything but that, I cant concentrate when I sit down to try and do it.

Everything seems to be driving me up the wall :dohh:

well when i left my ex i got drunk n smoked myself silly, then got over him pretty fast because i met my husband within 2 weeks lol but i was young and free, didnt have any children to think about.

whats ur course in? i think give urself abit of time and then make sure u get back into it.

its not easy being a single mum at night when u are just sat there thinking well what now! my husband worked away so i was used to being by myself with zane and then alone at nights so i guess im ok as im used to it already.

next time ur in the supermarket go thru the cheap dvds, ive often found great dvds for cheap.
my sister bought round the other guys and i was in stitches all the way thru, plus it helps that mark walhburgs in it n gorgeous :p

anything with Johnny Depp in..

he'll take your mind off everything.. :haha:

xx

What bout reading a book? Thats always the best way for me to take my mind off stuff.. Losing myself in someone elses story hehe. xx

This is going to sound ridiculous but i hated the evenings, couldn't read my books cos i couldn't concentrate on them, couldn't have friends round cos they all have partners and children, couldnt go out for obvious reason (Jack)......so what did i do?

Joined plentyoffish.com and made a profile that stated i was on for hang out only and i chat to fellas on there haha they all know im not on there to find a fella and some are on for hang out only too so works both ways......one took me out for my birthday and paid for bowling as a treat which i thought was lovely of him (absolutely nothing in it)......and i kicked his backside twice hahaha! Try it- don't make yourself out to be vulnerable though and be careful how much info you give out......EG talk as if the person on the other end of the convo has contact with your ex cos ya never know!
I love it though, adult conversation, no commitment but a bit of attention and in the long run you never know ;)

I have just finished Micheal McIntyres bio, very funny, took my mind of stuff.

V xxx

oh oh oh - WAITRESS with Keri Russell! It was on TV while I was pregnant and I am soooo glad I watched it. Go get it right now!!
