My LO is 11 weeks old and for the past two days it has hurt me to do a number two and I've noticed a little blood on the toilet paper when I've wiped.

Today in particular I feel a bit sore in that area generally.

I didn't suffer from piles during pregnancy. I'm aware that some people get them PP but is this too long PP?

I dunno - but sounds like they are 'them'! I've had/got them too and it's not nice! Doc gave me some lactulose to soften and cream for repair  Still a bit sore, but better.

I had something similar but they weren't piles- embarrassingly dh took a look for me. We think I had an anal fissure which is a small kinda cut. I just put sudacrem around my bum and low and behold it seems to have healed. With both fissures and piles they will heal naturally over time. Think mine took 3 weeks...mostly because my stools were quite hard and kept aggravating the site.

Try eating things to help soften your stools so whatever it is has a chance to heal. Maybe try the sudacrem too? If you still bleed then go to the docs, as as my husband said "bleeding out your arse ain't good, best to get it checked" lol.x

Thanks, I'll try Sudocrem and see if it helps and if not, docs it is.

It's not like we have any dignity left after pregnancy and childbirth anyways, lol x

I hear ya. After they put the catheter in they left me with my gown round my waist with med students standing by my feet and about 4 other people standing round me. Luckily one of the midwives walked up with a blanket and sai to the surgeon (Luke he was an idiot) "I'm going to cover her" and looked at me kindly! They didn't even aak if I wanted med students in there!

After the section, hen they dragged m over to a bed I could see this line of blood and actually felt embarrased. First thing that I thought was "omg I'm on my period and have leaked everywhere" hahahaha

Eeek! After my section they wheeled me onto the ward half naked and having skin to skin with/ feeding my baby and then left the curtains open for the rest of the night while my breasts were on show to everyone that walked past, patients and midwives alike.

If I hadn't have been so out of it after a long labour, sleep deprivation and lots of drugs I would have really kicked off with them.

Some indignities are unavoidable during childbirth but that was a step too far...
