Pill question

I've never been on the pill before but I'm on cilest. My friend said I could start another pack straight after the other. To stop my period for my holiday.

I did but now I've been bleeding for week and a half. Even though still taking pills. Is this normal? It's very annoying!

Lots of bloody discharge too.

I was on microgynon before which I am sure is a similar kind of pill (oestrogen and progesterone). You can take the packets one after each other to stop a period as your friend suggested, but you can still have breakthrough and bleeding.

I suffered break through bleeding a couple of times when I did this.

As pp it is breakthrough bleeding. I often run pill packs together when I go on holiday etc x

I've just got the pill so not too sure I've not had a period yet so don't know when I should take it!! X

I started taking mine straight away. When I came of depo last year I was waiting for period to start pill...it never came and I was already pregnant! We used condoms too.
