Pink breast milk

There's no pain or obvious cut/crack. I've had a quick look online and am assuming it's blood. I'm more worried about the fact I've just fed my son. I pumped this morning and the colour was a normal light cream colour. Is it okay to continue feeding him or should I go and grab some formula until it's cleared?

I woke up this morning to a horrible temperature and nausea, although the nausea isn't uncommon. Could this be related?

It sounds like it could be mastitis. The temperature along with a bit of blood seems to fit. I suggest getting a doc to look at you. Do you have any reddish rash or blotches/ one darker nipple? When I had mastitis, I was told it was okay to keep feeding.

No rash, blotches or darker nipple. Going to try and get an appointment, I think thanks

I had badly cracked nipples with dd1 and a bit of blood doesn't bother them! Just make sure you are ok.
