Pins and needles under breast

Exactly as the title says, I've been having pins and needles/tingling feeling underneath my left boob now for the past week or so. It seems to go into overdrive when I go to bed and lie down. Drives me mad more than being in pain.

It didn't happen last time so just wondering if it is another pregnancy symptom and if anybody else has had it? Know what it could be?

I can't say I have ever heard of this. Might be worth mentioning to your midwife at your next appt ? Possibly baby sitting on a nerve ? Sorry I'm not much help, didn't want to read and run!

I havebeen feeling something funny there, too but more like mini muscle spasms. Ive been wearing sports bras and i feel it right under the elastic band. I feel it at night when i lay down to watch tv. No clue what it is?

I have been getting the same feeling since about 28 weeks ( as my bump got bigger it got worse). I asked my Dr. about it and it is just the circulation being cut off, if i stand up and walk around a bit it goes away...

My sister mentioned that she's been having this weird symptom too. She's 33 weeks now (but mentioned it to me when she was 28 weeks or so - and said it had been happening for a while.)

She's a nursing student (funnily enough she's working in the maternity-ward right now) anywho she did some 'asking around' and came to the conclusion that it's not an uncommon symptom so she stopped worrying about it. *shrugs*

If it's really bothering/worrying you then definitely ask your dr/midwife - just for 'peace of mind' sake. I mean - we're pregnant - we're allowed to have moments of health-related worry...

Thanks girls. Just funny feeling and I'm sure it probably has something to do with circulation and body parts moving about etc. I will mention it to midwife when I get to see her again.... jeez! You have one baby and then you are pretty much left alone next time. I don't think I see her again until 34 weeks after 28 week visit.

Keep an eye on it... if the tingly strange feelings get worse or affect other random areas of your body then def tell midwwife and get referred. I started with a numb funny tingly feeling in my shoulder - eventually went to my feel and spread up my legs to my bellybutton... its been consistent for the last 4 months, and after a lot of doc appointments and an mri scan it turns out I may have Multiple Sclerosis.

Not trying to scare you, and its very doubtful from one small patch but just if it does get worse and effects multiple areas and spreads... speak up.

If it stays as it is then I guess its likely its just baby pressing on something

I had this pain when I was pregnant with my first baby. It was right under my left breast. My pain was pretty bad, not only did it feel like pins and needles, it also felt like my skin was burning too. It lasted a few weeks, then went away. My OB told me it was from everything being squished inside, but my skin stretching.

i get this and have done for weeks now, i get it under my right side it drives me mad but i think its just due to circulation and nerves, midwife says nothing to worry about just try find ways to make it comfortable, get up move around etc x

I'm only 21 weeks and I've been having pins and needles just under the diaphragm below my bra for a few days now. There's no pain, or anything extreme like that, my skin just goes numb when I sit certain ways and it goes away pretty quickly when I get up and walk around. I was more curious then concerned. Hope its nothing serious for you ladies.
