Pityrasis Rosea (skin spots)

My husband has it. He's had it for about 4 weeks

To be honest that what I thought when I saw your other post. He has the herald patch on his arm and it looks a lot like ringworm

I had it last year, I also wondered this when I read your post but mine itched like hell so I wasn't sure it was relevant. It was awful at the time but left no marks and faded fast.

Ya my dr ended up saying its this.... I'm not too happy.. And after I shower it seems to magnify it :(

I had this a few years ago when I wasn't pregnant I got the herald spot in the small of my back and then the rash spread across my lower back and around the side. It lasted a few weeks and I really feel for you as it was sooooo itchy and really weepy if I scratched it :(

Mine isn't really too itchy. The Doc said sometimes it is sometimes not. I do have one which would be the herold spot that does itch at night. But the rest I only know are there because I can see them. :( I hope it doesn't effect the baby!!!!

Glad you got some answers!

I mentioned in your other post, but I did indeed have this in the past (although not when I was pregnant). I had it for what seemed like months... It started near the side of my rib cage and spread along my stomach/torso and on my back, with a few on my neck. Mine did not itch...

My doctor told me that sunlight can help clear it up and told me to go tanning a couple of times (I did) and that was actually the only thing that ended up helping.

Hope it clears up for you soon!

Itsychik, mine started the same way by my rib cage too. I was kinda hoping it was ringworm cause there is a cure for that!
I laid out in the sun today hoping that will do something...lol
