I posted this in 2nd tri as well just for an update and some needed support. Don't know how much help I will get here but it is a complication. I had a scan on the 16th of October because I was a new patient to my women's department in my hospital where I plan on delivering. I had an anatomy scan at 19+3 and that scan was pretty well. No fluid issues, nothing to really worry about except me coming to terms that I was going to have another boy.(:haha:)
My insurance changed and I could no longer go to that office so I decided to go to the hospital on base because it would be less out of my husband's pockets for the delivery...{Sorry for the side story here}
anyways, my new doctor didn't have my files yet and wanted to see what was going on herself and when she did, bubs was suspected to be in the lower 47% growth and AFI was at 8. I was put on bed rest and to be drinking all the fluids I could get my hands on because of the level.
Went for my 24 week appointment and my GTT came back great! and NOOOO sign of high blood pressure! Which made me think, I might be able to get a consult for my VBAC now! Got the consult, however my current doctor thinks that it won't be necessary because of how my little boy is looking in growth.
Fast forward to yesterday and my scan showed more bad news. :cry:
My placenta is starting to separate from my uterus and AFI is at 5. Bubs has dropped to 20% in growth and has only put on 3oz in 3 weeks.
End result- I was put on restriced bed rest and more fluid intake to see if that will help any. Also, I have to check for contractions due to the condition of my placenta. I have another scan on the 30th with the specialist because of growth issues and if he hasn't put on weight, there will be a plan for what will happen-if he has to be delivered early-. I apologise for the very long post, it's just really hard for me to cope as my greatest fear is handling a preemie. Especially someone who is smaller than me when I was born. :(
Thanks for reading/support. :flower:

I'm afraid I don't have any advice for you but I am at risk of growth/placenta issues. Just wanted to wish you good luck, I hope all goes well in the coming weeks, it sounds like they will monitor you closely which is good :hugs:
