Since we chose the name Peyton for LO I have mostly received compliments on the name. However, I was thinking that the older generations in the family might not appreciate such a relatively new and trendy name. However, to my surprise most of the elders of the family (Peyton's grandma, great grandma and nana) all adore the name. The only family member that has openly said he isn't fond of the name is my dad. But, he didn't particularly like the name of my niece, Avarie, before she was born. But now that she is 4, he's gotten used to it. I just think he's a very traditional, conservative guy and I know he likes the more traditional and gender-specific (not unisex) names, so I'm not taking it to heart. He will lover her no matter the name. I'm just relieved to know that all the grandma's like it!!!

Peyton is a wonderful name. I had it on my short list until I found out someone I knew used it for her daughter. Very cute choice!
