Please HELP am I out, BFN @ 11DPO

Did anyone get a BFN at 10-11 dpo then get a positive later? Is it still just too early? Or is all hope lost?

Hi there,

It's absolutely still too early. Lots of women don't test positive at all until they're way overdue their period, so try to relax (easier said than done, I know), take care of yourself and test when you're due on.

Thanks Girls! - I just "feel" pregnant!!! - I lost a baby boy at 17 weeks in 2009 , we didnt find out till I was 6 weeks, it was a ooopsie

Hi Emma, with my lo i didnt get a BFP until 24 DPO i got a BFN at 21DPO and this time i got a bfn at 16dpo and again at 19dpo and a faint bfp at 20dpo and it got darker from then and i got a digi 22dpo so ur defo not out until the witch comes.

Even then ur not totally out as i spotted with pink and brown and some very small red bits from 14dpo until 21dpo so please try not to worry xxx

Yay that gives me hope, I feel like im driving myself mad, i will be so upset if im not pregnant as I feel like I know my body so well and I just feel pregnant.

As everyone has said, you're definitely not out of the running - it's really quite rare to get a BFP around this stage of your cycle. In fact, that's why my GP has sent me for a scan, lol, because she thinks I got my BFP far too early and must be further along! I tested positive at what would have been 7-9dpo - she says most BFPs won't show until after period is due, sometimes up to 4-6 weeks afterwards; it just all depends on how quickly your body produces hCG.

How are you feeling generally? I know you say you feel pregnant (and trust me I know that one!) but what symptoms do you have? I always found discussing my symptoms helped take my mind off the wait.

I tested the day before and the day my period was due, as I 'felt' pregnant, both negative, left it a few days, tested again with a digi and came back positive. Good luck!!x

I have a strange feeling, you know the feeling you get in your checst, stomach when you are angry or upset? I have felt like that constantly for a few days. Its abit like indegestion too.

Back absolutly kills and I am off my food completly.

I have pulling twinges in my abdomen, heavy boobs, VERY tired and terrible indegestion and nausea, the nausea is putting me off my food but I feel better when I have eaten.

Today I also feel very cold and I have a dry mouth and runny nose.

The indegestion is the same I had in my last pregnancy.

Lots of Spots too.

Eeep! I don't want to raise your hopes chick but you've just described exactly how I felt before I knew-knew, lol! I had that feeling, almost like the nervy feeling you get when something's going wrong or you're about to go to the dentist - and I still get it every day now. Awful heartburn and randomly wretching like I need to throw up (I've always struggled to throw up and rarely do, even with pg sickness), plus the worst bouts of motion sickness ever.

When exactly is your AF due, if you don't mind me asking? Do you often feel like this leading up to it?

The nervy feeling is sooo weird, Its like ive fallen out with DH or like you say im going to the dentist, very very weird.

I dont feel anything like I do when my AF is due, Im normally bloated and im not at all bloated today. I actually feel really thin!! (which I never ever feel)

I am also Pooing alot ( sorry TMI) and its very smelly!! (blushing now!!)

The motion sickness is interesting too, I felt really sick when we were out the other day when my hubby was driving.

I didn't get a proper positive until 5 days after af was due. Got a negative the day before I was due.

I didn't get my positive until I was 17dpo hun, I got a - at 13dpo and 14dpo then a + at 17dpo in the evening then another 2 at 18dpo so you're not out yet hun.
