I had one in my last pregnancy they found it around 7 weeks after heavy bleeding, they told me not to lift anything heavy and try put feet up as much as you can. My sch stayed there until few weeks before I had my ds at 35 weeks I did have more bleeding off and on.
There's a support group on yahoo I joined loads of people go through it and have healthy babies:hugs: x

Hi! There's a support forum in the Lounge Area/Pregnancy section. It's not too far down the page. There are several of us currently going through this so it's somewhat active. It's an older thread so you can read through the many past success stories.

I bled through my entire First Trimester and my little boy is doing great! Whenever you get a gush (IF you get them...you might not) make sure to go the ER but please try to keep that hope alive as sch is certainly an explanation for the bleed. At 8 1/2 weeks I lost clot after clot (I'm talking hand-sized) and the next day a scan showed my baby wriggling around. I had another bleed at 14 weeks but haven't had anything since. I still have a bleed inside and found out I have a placenta abruption but it's possible the abruption caused the sch in the first place (can't tell) yet my prognosis is still very, very good (and I'm seeing the best specialist available to me).

By the sounds of it, yours is shrinking. That's good! And your baby is growing. That's what is important now. Drink lots, rest lots.

SCH is scary but odds are in your favour. AND DON'T GOOGLE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!! Seriously. Don't. The mid wife scolded me today when I admitted I still Googled from time to time.

Mmm, to be honest whilst it sounds HUGE at the moment, compared to the baby, in a short few weeks, it'll be tiny, and that's if it hasn't reabsorbed... YOu should be absolutely fine *hugs*

It sounds like it is an SCH but don't be scared as it's quite small really (mine is 7cm x3.5cm at the latest scan)
