Please help me choose a phone!

I'm due for my upgrade sunday I cannot wait to not use this blackberry! But now I can't decide on a phone I'm swaying between the Iphone and samsung galaxy so any info on these two would be great like what u like/ dislike or if anyone else has ideas on any others! I will be very grateful! Xx

I have the samsung galaxy s3 abd have to say its the best phone ive ever had and not had any problems with it since i got it. I think ive had it since june/july as i got it when it first came out lol. The only thing i would say would be make sure to get a case for it. mine survived being dropped many times thanks to the gel case on it x

Second the samsung galaxy 3 - it is brilliant in all ways. beats the iphone in almost all surverys/reviews. and just generally brillaint!!

I just bought myself & OH a Galaxy S3 a couple of weeks ago (She had iPhone 5) and we'll never look back. Best phones we've ever had. Not over the top expensive, really nice looking, not had any issues with apps either and the screen is great.

I believe the Samsung galaxy s3 is the best out there right now, but I am am apples person so I got the s4, I wouldn't change from apple now, I love it.

I dont have the s3 but i do have a samsung. Both of my fav phones were samsugs. The s3 beats iphone in all the reviews.

I have an iPhone 4S as I'm not really a fan of android powered phones and blackberries are just ugh. My OH has the galaxy nexus and I've played with it a few times but I could never get to grips with it.

AFAIK the galaxy s4 will be out soonish so might be worth waiting for that.

Had my galaxy s3 for a week now and LOVE it. Got a lovely case on ebay for £3 too. Only downside is it absolutely guzzles battery and has to be charged every night.

Oh god i remember my blackberry. Such a crap phone. I have the iphone and I love it! I thought it was way over hyped until OH got one and I just had to have one for myself

My friend has an s3 and I agree with other posters its a great phone only thing that put me off was the size but I think they have just brought out a mini version? I have a HTC one and I love it before that I had an I phone and I love android so much more! Your not limited to things because of ios

The s3 feels big at first but you get used to it. Its amazing for browsing the net and the camera is fab x

I have the new htc windows phone 8x, bloody love it!
It has the new windows software, looks great and sooo much better value than iPhone 5 or Nokia 920

I have an iPhone and I live on it! It does everything I want it to, has apps for everything and I'm still totally addicted.
My husband is always telling me off for playing on my phone too much

I have the galaxy ace and i don't rate it really. The storage is awful. There is too much stuff on the phone storage that you can't remove. If you then download an app it takes up way too much space, even if you have saved it to the memory card it takes up room on the phone.
I am having problems with the notification tones. If i have the alert tones on then every time i get a text and email i get notified - that fine. But it also goes off if people post on Facebook and also play Words with friends with me. But if i don't want to get the Facebook/words notifications then i can't get the text alerts either.
Also - with the wifi, if i have it turned on and we go into an area where there is an open wifi available then it turns the 3g off but it can't always connect to the wifi.
I also can't have all my music on my phone which means that i have to carry my phone and iPod on me.
I am getting an iPhone next time.

I have a galaxy ace II and i love it. Not sure about the fb/txt notification but regarding the wifi/3g thing you can change that in the settings under wifi,just tell it not to notify you or check for wifi connections.
