please help need advice on housing benefit ASAP

im renting a house privately was claiming income support joint with my partner any way he left and now housing benefit have stopped my rent payments i am on incapacity due to not been able to work and also got a 9month old and pregnant and i am on child tax will i still get my housing benefit im panicking like mad please help. im with chesterfield council

do they know your partner left? i'm sure you should still get the help.. as working isn't an option for you.

best bet i think is visit their offices or contact them somehow, explain whats happened, and ask them to review the claim based on your circumstances now.

thanks hun thats helped and no i havent managed to let them know due to the upset etc but my income support claim was stopped so obviously theyve stopped my claim because they need to know whats happened

just done calculation thingy online and im entitled to £107 a week its saying and £16 a week council tax i am going to call them at 8am to get it sorted will let you know
