Please help! No help from hospital freaking out

Hi I had some light bleeding last night and cramps. I just rang my midwife who advised me to ring my local hospital maternity unit as I'm 23 weeks. They told me to not worry about the blood and just wait and see if I bleed anymore...I'm panicking and now just worrying even more that they won't even check it! I'm not sure whether to ring my midwife again and ask if they will check baby's heart beat? Do you think they may do this or is this me over reacting?

They might or they might not hun. But you dont know till you try

I had spotting with ds2 and was told it wasnt a concern unless it got heavy as it could just be cervical irritation. ring your midwife and see what she says hun xx

Thanks hun, I keep worrying that the midwife will think in abit neurotic but I guess the only to find out is to ask!

I would definitely ring my midwife to tell her what they said. If they could just get you in for a check I'm sure it would really put your mind at ease. Good luck x

Hi hun, no that's ok and no I haven't! I almost wish I had so I had an excuse for the bleeding tho! Baby is now kicking away so fx she is ok. Still awaiting a call back x

No more bleeding or spotting and no more cramps so fx everything is ok. My midwife has come back to me and is going to try and fit me in this afternoon I am just waiting for her to let me know what time. I feel abit more relaxed now! Xx

im glad its all stopped hun. that sounds really reassuring.. sounds like it coul dhave just been cervical irritation.. it happens so easily. Even a BM can cause it xx
