Please help or advise if you can :( In pain

Okay so I did not want to post it on the title but my vagina really hurts, for my birthday we tried gentle sex with lots of lube and all different positions ot find one that did not hurt so much like it during pregnancy, now I know the midwife told me the first time might feel rough if you have not had sex during pregnancy but OUCH its like being a virgin again, my lady bits feel like they did when I first had sex only this time there was no hymen to break or bleeding everything looks fine down there which is why its hard to know whats causing the pain especially since we used lube and a special women's only lube and hubby was gentle but the minute he penetrates it stings like sandpaper or a bee sting, a very repetitive bee sting and he knows how much it hurts and it hurts him to as he wants to please me like I please him

I did not expect sex to hurt after a c section much, I expected discomfort as its been awhile but this is like having had a vaginal birth only with no stitches and it does not hurt to pee but my pernium is so sore, its not used to sex lol but still it never hurt while we were TTC and obviously before we started trying it was fine, we still used different lubes but it was always enjoyable and easy and never hurt or made me wince in pain

However did any other ladies find it took them a long time after birth regardless what they had to enjoy sex again?
My vagina is intact, the midwife looked and doctor so what is causing this?
pelvic muscles perhaps? I still have SPD and my uterus has not fully contracted down to size yet cause i am not breastfeeding could these be reasons

I'd say take it slow. It hurt me but I have a condition which can make sex more painful. But over time it will get better.

Sex definitely didn't feel good for me either when we tried it 6 weeks pp. Were you nervous? I was really tense and therefore, it made it more difficult and not enjoyable whatsoever. Take it slow and give it some time. Sex is fabulous now!!

thanks ladies, nope I was not nervous but I was unable to have sex during pregnancy as it felt so painful just like it did when we tried over the weekend, so maybe my body has not settled down yet???

me and my partner was having sex up until i had my c section but yea hurt just a bit after that

well i found out its due to my cervix being inflamed during the second trimester and that made sex very painful and i had an exam today and found out its still inflamed due to three different bacterial infections, GROSS!!!

so we have to wait for the antibiotics to kick in and run their course as well as the cream for the UTI and night time B.V pills lol such a combo
if by the time summer is three months and my cervical smear reveals a swollen cervix they will then refer me but i am hoping it does not come to that and by month three we can again

Wow, that is a combo of meds - I'll keep you in my prayers. You'll be DTD before you know it...

Hi Arisa and other ladies! I found this post whilst doing a search and your description of painful sex during pregnancy is exactly where im at! I was fine before! And now im worried if it's hurting before birth what the hell is it going to be like after?! It's interesting you found yours to be cervical related as my pain is definitely at the entrance-I can locate it with my finger - like just where the opening is/muscular tight ring (sorry-tmi but there's no point beating about the bush with these things!)

Do you have any pain now? What do you think it was-still cervical?
