Please help! Ttc 3+ years possitive blood test now AF shows for 12 hours?!

Hi all I really need some advice and someone to talk to. We've been TV for over 3.5 years. 2 days ago I finally got 3 very faint positive hpt! I called dr and got a blood test that showed 10 hcg but only 2 progesterone levels. Last night I started spitting then this morning I bled for about 6 hours and now it's gone. When I told dr this morning I started bleeding she said I was def pregnant but must have been a chemical. I was gutted! But now y did my period just stop? And my usual AF cramps are horrendous these were not at all. Thank you in advance for any words of wisdom

you might want to get additional bloodwork done
