Please help with girls name. Katelyn too common?

We are thinking about using the name Katelyn Elizabeth but afraid it is too common. We would love to incorporate my moms name Kay somehow (mother-in-law is Elizabeth) but don't want her to be one of 3 Katelyns in her class. Opinions or other suggestions? Help me!

I think Katelyn is sweet but if you can't go for that, what about Kacy? Kaylin? Kaylee? Kaya?

If you don't go for that, how about Kayla, Kay on it's own...Kaylee....

Not sure where you live, but it doesn't seem to be used too frequently here in the US. It's a "common" name but not a very popular one, in my opinion. I think it's pretty! I have only known two Katelyn's. I just checked the ssi website... Katelyn only ranked #80 last year... which isn't very high!

I like Katelyn. I think it was popular here in the UK, but its not so popular anymore, and its usually spelt Caitlin too, so the spelling is not the popular way either. (I actually prefer your spelling ). xx​

I love the name, but i'm biased. my oldest is Kaitlyn Rose same name just different spelling.

My step-daughter is called Kaitlyn and she is the only one in her primary school (UK) admittedly she is 11 but I don't think it is a very common name even now. There are none at the Toy Library I volunteer at and we have 400 child members under 5. It's more common in Wales than England but then it is usually spelt Caitlin.
