Please help!!!

Hi everyone. My name is Laura and this is my first post on this forum.

I have a 2 yr old little girl named Theresa Violet....we call her Tessa. she is named after both of my grandmothers who passed away.

I am 28 weeks pregnant with a little boy due the end of January.

I have a problem with names. LOL

DH is dead set on a name and I really dont like it. Matthew Stephen. Its not horrible....just too common for me. The problem is Matthew is after is best friend who passed away and Stephen is after his brother who passed away.

How in the world can I tell him I dont want to name our son after his dead best friend and his dead brother when I chose to name our daughter after my dead grandmothers??!!??!!??!!??!!

Now I am totally wanting to use both Matthew and Stephen as middle names but do not like either as a first name.

I have always loved the name Wyatt and I think Wyatt Matthew Stephen sounds pretty nice together but I'm also willing to pick another name as the first name....just not a common one.

Matthew has made the top 5 names list for the past 25 years in a row. You cant get much more common than that.

Please help. I'm also willing to hear other uncommon name choices if you have them.

I agree - using them as middle names is a good idea.
Wyatt is nice. Other ideas:
Blake Matthew Stephen
Elliot Matthew Stephen

(BTW love Thresea Violet and Tessa)

I love the name Matthew -- much prefer it to Wyatt, IMO

How about a variation of one of the names your OH wants like "Stevie Matthew" or "Stefan Matthew" or "Matty Stephen"
