every single day sometimes mutiple different ones, depends on what add is on top but whenever im here i get adds taking up the whole page and i have to find a way around them. Most wont even close as the dont have an x out..

this is going on since i posted about it the other week and has gotten worse and worse as days go on..

It makes it very hard to stay and read and navigate..

I do not go to any other site, this is it. I love this site so much and I love the policies but posting and reading is becoming a chore just to try and get around all the adds..
its always the adds on top the page....

im on IE7 and firefox...i use the firefox..

i use delta and or google..

and im in america...

i stopped taking pics of it because its just to many at this point

it was never like this a few months back...it has to be something new in the last few months...thanks for listening me moan about it...

I really do love this site...I am staying I just hope you guys help make it easier to get around with getting rid of this pop up adds

have you tried installing adblocker?
i use google chrome and an adblocker and have no problems

ive had this issue of my laptop too with full page adds coming up.. its only once in a while though. i too have pop up blockers enabled but i agree its frustrating!! i dont know what causes it!

I've been having the same problems as you and it occurs about every other day or so. Tonight it's really bad to the point where I'm just gonna give up on this site for tonight and try again tomorrow. Although I do love this site, all the adds make it really hard. I use google chrome on my laptop and have popup blockers also but doesn't seem to help. I sure hope this issue gets resolved soon.

It's a nice site, but whoever decided that pop up ads were a good idea needs to seriously rethink that plan. Definitely annoying enough to deter me from coming as much as I was before. Very tacky, invasive, and distracting.

Agreed! I love this site but my patience has really been tried with these ads... I have the issue with the mobile site but it isn't quite as bad so that's what I'm using. I understand the need for revenue but there must be a more tasteful way to go about it!

I also understand the necessity of advertising to support a website this large, however the frequency of recent ads (particularly the Croods ad which seems immune to ad blocker) is drastically reducing the my patience with this forum and subsequently time spent browsing. I'm ok with little banners at the bottom of the screen, and advertisements along the sides do not bother me in the slightest, but full screen ads with sound every single time I refresh the screen are ridiculous.
