Hi Ladies,
I'm beginning to get really upset about my babies formula and I just dont know what to do anymore!
I managed to breast feed for 3 months towards the end I did one feed of formula (cow and gate). Then at 3 months I moved her totally onto formula. My partner and I began to notice a rash and dry skin, also she was sick all the time. I had a feeling she may be allergic to formula so I took her to the doctors. I was prescribed soya.
For 3 weeks she was on soya and the health visitor came around, she was shocked I had soya. She said I should have her on Nutrigen. So I then switched her to this milk, then a rash started to appear so I moved her back to the soya (after checking with the doctor). He suggested soon to try normal formula again, I have tried it today and the rash had covered from her chin down to her hips.
I'm so upset to have to keep changing milk and I dont want her to be missing vital vitamins and ruining her little tummy.
I have thought of trying to get my breast milk back and starting solids so I can cut out formula's, but my body stopped producing enough milk so I doubt that would be possible.
Has anyone else had a similar siutuation?
I really would appreciate any advice.
Thanks xxx
