Please please please some advice :)

My husband and I are going to our first appointment at the fertility clinic tomorrow. We have been trying for 18 months. I've had bloods done and a clockwork cycle and dh has had a sa done with not the best results and had to do a repeat sample on Thursday. We will get the results tomorrow at the interview. I was hoping that you could please give me some advice on questions that I could/should be asking the dr. Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

Definitely ask if your options. IVF is expensive and very time consuming, and you may not need it. Ask him about Clomid for you and your husband. Also ask about IUI and see if he/she thinks you can be successful wih that protocol.

Also, they will do an intensive workup. Before going, I didn't know there were things that was hindering me to become pregnant. Although my DH does have a low sperm count. I found out that I had fibroids, a blocked tube and that I ovulated too early. They actually had to placed me on a special injection to help prolong the ovulation. Goodluck.
