Ploughmans salad

My oh wants me to make him a Ploughmans salad tonight...

I'm stupid so I had to google but there's loads of different ideas..

What would everyone here put in a ploughmans lunch? ( well for dinner time lol)

Apart from the salad, I think apple and crusty bread with a large wedge of cheese and some pickle is essential in a ploughmans.

Mmm, I love plougmans!

I'd do mature cheddar, slice of thick ham off the bone, apple, celery, chutney / pickle, pickled onions, celery, salad, crusty bread and butter...and a cheeky handful of kettle chips

Thats what we used to do at work (catering) so thats likely what he will be expecting
