Plugged milk duct

I've had a plugged milk duct for several days now, which is the longest I've ever had this happen. I've tried everything I can think of. I've pumped, nursed frequently, taken a hot shower and massaged the sore part... it still hurts. Any other suggestions?

I've put a microwaveable heat pad over it while feeding lo so that the milk flows quicker and hopefully empties better.

I have heard you are supposed to nurse on all fours. I know this sounds weird but something about gravity helping things out!!

I had ths yesterday. I nursed on all fours just now at 4 am. The hard sore bump is gone!
