I know people say if you wait till you earn a fortune you'll never have a baby, I understand that costs are different everywhere but as a general, what was your household income when you had your first baby?

Thankyou

It was less than 20-30k because I worked just part time only being 18 at the time.

Our was just over 20k and then I left my job was DD1 was 12 months old !

He wasnt working and nor was I, so 0. Same with #2. He was working a dinky job with #3. #4 is under 100k.

None have gone without.

Around £17k as I wasn't working at the time.

My husband was working 2 jobs and I one, all of which were full time, we brought home 17k USD the year we welcomed our first. We've come a long way for sure. And while we still aren't rolling around in money our bills are all paid out needs and some wants met.
I think it's about priority. I don't have a need for designer handbags and such and hubby is just fine without a sports car.

With mine and my husbands combined income it was about 39k a year.

By the time we have another it should be around 45k

Sounds a lot but it really isn't after Bills etc lmao
