My lo is 3 weeks old and has been on Aptamil Comfort for the past 2 weeks as SMA gold was making him constipated and he was really sicky and windy. Since been on comfort his wind is much better and he doesn't seem to be as sick. My question is about his poo (sorry TMI) He trumps like a trooper and always poos at the same time. I have a pooey nappy every change and it's very runny and yellow and looks a bit seedy. Is this normal? I know that the comfort is renowned for making babies trumpy and their poos softer and yellower but should there be poo in every nappy and shoudl it be this consistency?
Sorry about all the questions x x

Hi

Yeah we had exactly the same when Lily went on it. Comfort milk is for colic and constipation so I guess it will make poo more runny..... It calmed down after a few weeks but she does still have odd days when it is runnier than it should be. Stick with it, it does get better!!

xx

Thanks hun, I am sooo happy with the positive effects of comfort it's just this poo thing thats freaking me out - you know how many nappy changes you have anyway with a newborn but with the trump and poo situ I'm constantly at the changing table :)
Good to know that it does get better, I will defo stick with it

Yeah, normal hun. My DS was on Aptamil AR (anti reflux) & his poo was the same & he used to poo everyday after his morning bottle. It looks more like BF baby's poo. xx

libby has been on comfort for a couple of weeks and her poo has just thickened up.. im debating whether to take her off comfort tho as the pumps are causing her pain x
