Poo pants....

im so sick and tired of poo pants
My son will wee happily in the toilet but just refuses to poo in there...
He's on his 5th pair of pants today because he keeps starting to poo, then stopping (i whip him on the toilet quickly) he refuses to finish his poo, 20 mins later after iv given up and put another pair of pants on him he will start going in them

Im loosing my marbles, how can i encourage him to go in the toilet?

Hes so all over the shot with his poo's so i cant even put him on the toilet when hes "due" a poo.

Help me please

My son had the same behavior and it was a struggle for us. No matter what we did nothing worked. But then literally one day it "clicked" and he wanted to poo on the potty and was proud of himself when he did. He'd still get scared sometimes and forget, but he had a real desire to do it right and that's what mattered and ultimately provided success. This epiphany occurred somewhere between 3yrs and 3 1/2yrs for him.

No great advice, but you're not alone and he will conquer it eventually. My son is 6 1/2 now and doing great (as expected).

I really do hope it clicks, theres only so much pant scrubbing i can handle lol x
