Poop (bit tmi!)

Changing Grace's nappy this morning I noticed that instead if the strange smell that babies poo has it smelt like a real one and it was very dark yellow instead of bright yellow like usual and also a bit thicker. I haven't changed anything with her such as her formula or anything. The only thing that's different is that she's teething but I don't think that would affect her poo would it? Any ideas what it could be?

Caitlyns changed around 2 months. It's very thick and dark green. I think it's to do with hydration.

Should I be giving her more water then? She very rarely has any just because she won't drink it

I'd try some water for a couple of days, and if that doesn't help, and you're still worried, maybe ask your HV or a doctor?

Max gets pear juice every other day , that helped soften the poop ..but yeah lets just say he dosent smell like a newborn anymore lol
