Popping over from 1st tri... measuring behind

Hi all.

Just a quick question.... has anyone measured behind in your pregnancy? I had a scan at what I thought I was 6w3d but know I ovulated behind and implanted quite late and there was an empty sac of 5mm.... had a scan a week later and scan had grown to 7mm and now had a double decidual around it and the sonographer could see a yolk.... the sac looked so much bigger than last time. I also have a tilted uterus so all scans are internal. Going back on the 11th for another scan. Has this ever happened and all been ok?

Ovulating late is of course going to move your dates back. It seems like this is always taken into account during scans. I would wait until 8 weeks for a more clear picture of what's going on.

At 6w I measured 5w took baby aspirin and at 7w I measured 7w! So baby grew two weeks worth in 1 week. Don't know if it was the aspirin or not but I'll take it next pregnancy just in case! Baby is not measuring 2days ahead at 21 weeks. Good luck xx
