While I've got time I'll write my birth story... it's a long time coming as she was born 17th April lol

I woke up at 6.50am with a start and a desperate urge to go for a number 2  so I went to the loo and nothing really happened only really bad pain like I had a bit of an upset tummy so I went back to bed, anyway the pain came back sao went back to the toilet and sat there a bit longer still nothing, this time I wiped and there was blood not much just watery and red (baring in mind I'd been losing my plug bit by bit for the past week)
I went downstairs and phoned the hospital who said it sounded like the start and to put a pad on and monitor the blood have some breakfast and make my way in (b/c of the blood) as soon as I got off the phone the pain came back so intense I knew the mw was right I finally went to the toilet and had a bit of a clear out but after that I could hardly get up the stairs for the pain I crawled up and got in the bedroom and told oh we had to go and I was going to try and have a shower I managed it just about but the pains were so strong and every few minutes.
Then I felt like I needed to push so I got oh to phone hospital again and they said call an ambulance they were here with in minutes by ths time I was in agony( all this was about half an hour after I woke up lol)
The ambulance lady told oh to get loads of towels on the bed just in case (cliche I know! haha)
they actually managed to get me downstairs and onto a stretcher and rushed me to hospital, I got the gas and air in the ambulance and it helped loads I forgot how good it was!

When I got to hospital I was checked and I was 10 cm ad really needed to push so I was taken right to delivery and was pushing for what seemed like hours... she was still so high up I had to push her all the way down and it took about an hour and a half. they broke my waters and there was meconium so they put a monitor on her head, they emptied my bladder with a cathetar and put me on a drip b/c I was dehydrated ( I have the biggest needle phobia but at this moment in time I really did not care what they did to me lol)
I remember keep saying I can't do it I want a section :haha: but omg it was so intense and so bloody fast!
It then got to the point where I could feel her head boy could I feel her head! the doctor who was there all along said he needed to cut me to get her out and before I knew it she was there :cloud9: they rushed her off b/c she was blue with the cord around her neck and I just kept saying is she okay? there was about 6 people in the room it was hectic she wasn't crying (I've later found out she NEVER cries!) then I heard her whimper and it was AMAZING! they put her on me for skin to skin and we stayed like that for about an hour she just lay there looking at me with her gorgeous eyes then daddy got a cuddle. We were both in shock I still am lol
It was harder this time around, my pregnancy and birth 15 years ago with ds was so much easier, I don't know if it's an age thing or the fact I now have MS and a few other problems.
Anyway she's here and I'd do it all again for her but never again! lol

She was born in 4 hours 20 mins with a small cut and stitches weighing 8lb 11 oz at 11.10am Sunday the 17th April.

I have had post traumatic stress syndrome and PND I've not coped the best as the run up to her birth my cat died and we moved house the week before she was born then the shock of the quick birth just was a little too much,My stitches got infected the week after too and it was the worst pain I've ever experienced then I got put on some strong painkillers that didn't agree with me so I was spaced out and not with it until we realized what the problem was but I'm reconvering slowly with lots of amazing support from my wnderful oh who really is my rock he's talked me out of panic attacks and took over everything when I was at my worst and not bothering toi do anything he's so amazing and doesn't know just how much I love him :) and my family have been so good, I don't know what I'd have done without my mom. it's not been easy and I'm still taking one day at a time.

Poppy is gorgeous and so so good, puting weight on massivly lol she didn't even loose any afterwards (who said formula feeding was a bad thing!) she's gorgeous hardly ever cries, adores hte bath and cuddles and sleeps for England... I'm so in love with my little lady cub :cloud9:

I'll add pics soon it's taken me a lot to write this but I'm glad I have. I may have mised bits out that I'll add as I remember.
Thanks for reading :) xx
