Positive digital ovulation test today IUI not till monday

Ok I have a quick question, I was having some aches that seemed like ovulation, decided to take a test, and it's positive! Now is there any point to triggering tonight and the IUI Monday? That's how the dr scheduled me, I'm paying a chunk of it so that's why I'm asking....so confused. Should I still do the trigger shot?? This cycle has been really weird for me!

My doc told me that if I had a positive before taking the trigger that the trigger wasn't necessary but if there was ANY doubt ~ to do the trigger. He said the trigger wouldn't hurt anything either way. I would kind of question the timing of the IUI now though- can you have it Sunday or first thing Monday? Isn't your appt. in the afternoon on Monday? I think that will be a little late... I would call if you can! Is your office open on the weekend?

The office isn't open on weekends
I guess I'll trigger tonight anyways but call Monday first thing to see about either moving up the IUI or see if they think i should just cancel. My appt is at 1...I guess I'll just have to see what they say, otherwise we BD, not that it's worked for all this time, but I guess it's some backup. Thanks for the advice!

Well, that sucks that they're not open on the weekends! I would probably just GO in Monday morning first thing if you can and explain to them- and I would HOPE that they would fit you in! I would also for sure BD today and tomorrow as well just to cover your bases just in case! Fx'd for you!!! It CAN happen naturally!!!

Yea when I first started going it didnt occur to me that it would even matter that they're not open on the weekends, now I feel too invested in it all to switch. But I think ill def try just going in or calling cuz it's really close to my work so if they can squeeze me in early it'd be perfect.
