Had my 12-13 weeks scan today yey! how lovely is that feeling. :happydance: little heartbeat, jiggling around in there.

My little bubba actually waved at me and my mum and we had a little giggle because they looked like they were hicupping. Feel soooo much better and excited today. However, what a Beaatch the sonographer was!. I went with too full a bladder and she told me off in a crappy way for being tense in my tummy , then she told my mum off when she asked at 20 weeks if we could find out the sex 'that's not what your 20 week scan is about, it's about the health of the baby, if we see the sex, fine, otherwise, no we can't tell you what you will be having' :growlmad: Charming bedside manner. She didn't even tell me at the end if everything was fine, I just assumed it was because nothing was said.

Anyway, it didn't spoil my day and I do feel like I have my baby all to myself :hugs:

They can be sooooo rude!!!!

Congratulations though, its good to have positive news.

I had a 4d scan last monday and got to see his little face :-) x

rude nurse!!! she needs a new line of business if she cant be a pleasant person! im sure everything fine since she did not say anything. it is a very exciting feeling .. glad she did not ruin your day :hugs:

I'm glad the scan went well :hugs: Sorry to hear about the sonographer. I know the 20 week scan isn't about the sex but it's still exciting xx

:happydance: isnt it a great feeling seeing that little bubba.. I giggled through most of my 12-13 week scan. I had a lovely sonographer. They took 50 minutes as the girls wouldnt keep still long enough to get measurements :haha:

As for the sonographer, ahh some of them are such cows, in it because its a job and not a passion.

She got fired yesterday! I rang and complained to the Women's Health Manager and she didn't defend her at all and said yes, well I am so sorry you didn't have an amazing experience and she didn't explain things to you fully but that lady was relieved of her duties yesterday. I think she must have done or said something to other Mums after I had gone and that may have been the last straw? The centre manager went into detail about everything and all my tests were okay (downs syndrome - very low risk even though I am 38 and was worried about that). So I am a happy bunny now :-)

Lol well she must of been a right cow to others also.

 that is great to hear! hopefully next time you get a nurse that remembers its not just a Job and will give you a better experience :hugs:

oh and maybe just maybe get to see boy or girl :) always fun and exciting to know!

Awww scans are such a lovely experience. I loved every single one of mine. Glad to hear the cow bag was fired. She sounded charming....NOT lol. Glad everything is well!
