So I think looking on the forum, we are all getting a bit down at the moment :nope: winter blues, baby blues and general feeling of being fed up.

So this is a post for positive things ONLY! Things to read through and cheer ourselves up or look forward to

I will start:

It is 12 degrees today and the sun is SHINING, which always cheers me up! Went and sat in the field with my horses and just chilled, which I haven't been able to do for ages with the miserable weather!

Hubby and I have booked a week away to Malaga for end of August :happydance: hot sun and a pool! Perfect!

We have our first FS appointment through for 21st March so that will hopefully move things along further

They can be baby or no baby things, let's get some positive energy going!!

Looking forward to vacation in a few short months....here we come beach!!!

Hi  Tonibzac and Mommyagain We're also working on a trip to the water...either Florida or Caribbean to get our scuba on.

Today it was beautiful and sunny here in Chicago too. I was having a pitty party and decided to get out of bed and got tons of things around the house done! Even had a great afternoon nap - but now I am wide awake and it's after midnight, lol. Who cares because the best part is - I am off tomorrow too and I can SLEEP-IN!!

What a great idea for a thread - I was lurking around here (usually post in Assisted Conception) and was thinking it was a little on the down and out side!!

Had a pity post tonight but your thread had me kicking myself I the rear.

4day weekend, woohoo! I'm soo going shopping!!! One good thing about not being preggo, more for me (insert evil laugh here).

Good thread!

:happydance::happydance::happydance:

I'm going shopping tomorrow too! I believe the only thing good thing about not being pregnant is that you can selfishly spend money!! Then again, I do it to make myself feel better after a week of feeling like garb and shitty news!!

True true about the shopping.

Best part about not being PG for me is: I can't dive if I'm pregnant and everytime I go long periods of time I get so antsy...Haven't been since October right now and ready to taste the salt!! Just a total release of your mind and body under there...weightless, listening to nothing but the sound of your own breathing. Seriously it is like my valium.

Oooh I'd love to go to Florida! And shopping sounds soooo good! As do the long weekends! I'm a teacher and we are on half term so have had this whole week to just relax - ride the horses, catch up on housework.... Which was strangely therapeutic!!!

I want to put on half a stone by my FS appt so have sorted out a healthy eating plan and went shopping last night  lots of fruit, veg, meat and fresh juice so hopefully it will make me feel healthier and more active too :)

Just wanted to say I'm pleased you've got your FS appointment Tonibzac. I'm currently awaiting a first appointment. I know yours is a different hospital, but can you remember how long it took to receive the appointment through after you were referred?

Great idea for a thread. I've been in a really bad place for a couple of days now, after one of my close friends announced she's 18 weeks pg!

So my positivity: the weather is 'fair' and it's making me think it's nearly time to start sowing seeds - in the garden (ironic, I know!) Being a keen grower of fruit and veg, not being pg means I'll be able to get that done, without feeling ill with MS or being too big to move comfortably! Off to look at seed catalogues!

I keep the first page of my journal updated with dates if you want to look but it was about 3 weeks from GP referal to the letter arriving and a further 5 weeks until the nearest appointments, which are only on tues and Wednesday afternoons!

I always start really well with gardening in spring - repot all my strawberries, roses, herb baskets etc... But by summer it all gets a bit neglected lol

I really like this thread. I don't have to much positivity in me this week but I was hoping I could soak some up in here.

No negativity allowed phonixrose ;)

There must be something positive in your life right now that you are missing because it's over shadowed by the not so positive so work out what it is and share it with us :hugs:

LMAO! You're too funny. I have some positives I just wasn't sure I could say them without bringing the not so positives into the conversation, but I'll give it a try. I am very happy for my wonderful DH. Just when I think I couldn't possibly love him more then I do, he proves me wrong :) I'm also happy for my family and friends who are there for me when I need them.

:hugs: I'm glad you have supportive friends and family to help your journey xx

Hmmm...a positive. Well I was totally spoiled on V-day so I spoiled the hubbs in return the next day. I love being in love with my husband.
I am excited about finally doing IUI next cycle if this cycle doesn't work out. Feeling some things so staying positive about this cycle.
This forum was such a good idea. We do get down on ourselves so often with this whole process.
Thanks so much for this!

Great thread!!

My positive: I have had so much time lately, and have started working on starting an Etsy shop, I have been stocking up and making lots of purses, and am going to start making dog collars as soon as my supplies get here! I wouldn't be able to focus on this as much if i were pregnant!

I'm feeling really good about it!

I love hearing all these happy things!

Sun is shinning today and it is going to be an unseasonably warm day (maybe 40 degrees) here in Chicago. :)

Ooh it got to 7 degrees today an I was excited :haha: 40 would be lush!!!

Janers What is an etsy shop? Sounds intriguing!

No Doubt - glad you had a great valentines day :) I was spoilt too with a bubble bath full of rose petals, bottle of wine and hubby cooked a 3 course meal... And it was totally edible!!!!
