Poss Preeclampsia ??

I went to the docs yesterday as I been feeling unwell and thought I might have water infection. When they checked it it contained protein only no ketones or anything else. My bp was 108/62 I always have low blood pressure.

But it's freaked me out as I have to go again Monday to do another test, I just thought I'd post here to see if anyone else experienced similar prior to being diagnosed or it never went on to being diagnosed.

So freaked out as when you read about its so scary, I suffer from anxiety disorder which is worsened by illness or fear of illness

I don't have much info to offer but I wanted to reply to you. I would say that having a normal blood pressure is definitley a good sign. Try not to worry and see what the doctor says on Monday.

I've got concerns about developing preeclampsia, too. I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and had no protein in my urine and my bp was normal but I'm starting to notice that I'm "seeing stars" (little lights in my vision) which I guess is a symptom. It's weird, though, because I was just checked a few days ago. I also remember having these weird things with my vision when I had my daughter....It's just scary to think of all the things that can happen and our minds go into overdrive

I wouldn't worry to much yet hun, protein in urine can be caused by many different things- many very easily treatable.

Your BP sounds like its great! I'm sorry your not feeling well- hopefully they get you all sorted out!

I had severe pre-e, it felt like I had been hanging upside down all day and I was SO swollen.. my BP was in the 200/110 range and my protein was off the charts when I was taken via ambulance for an emergency csection. Just keep an eye out for symptoms- but at this point it sounds like its not pre-eclampsia.

I had midwife yesterday and am now being tested for pre-eclampsia. I had to send of a midstream urine sample this morning and my blood pressure yesterday was 148/88 which was high for me. I have never had high blood pressure it always stays the same. This is my 7th pregnancy but 4th baby and I am on tender hooks with worry! I really do not like not knowing. Hopefully you find out either way soon xx

Hi! I dont want to scare you because I have also had health anxiety before and its a horrible crippling fear, I had pre eclampisa last time and I was atypical, meaning I didnt show the normal signs, I started off with vision disturbances I did not have swelling or a high bp. Within 3 hours of my urine being tested I had a ceaser to get baby out quick smart, I felt absolutely fine no had no idea I was this sick. I am glad they are going to monitor you because you can never ben sure. Let us know how you get on x

Im currently sitting in triage as I have high blood pressure of 137/87 atm no protein tho - they dont seem worried atm and your bp is lower than mine im sure everythings fine x
