Hi All,
I hope you don't mind me posting but I was in LTTC until I became pregnant this time. I wondered if my story may help anyone with simular TTC problems.
I have a history of unexpained infertility (2 1/2 years) and also early pregnancy loss. I have just seen a consultant as I am currently just under 11 weeks pregnant and they have diagnosed blood clotting problems linked to oestrogen sensitivity (I had a blood clot on my lung when I was 18 and on the pill), which they feel explains the difficulty with sustaining pregnancy as my blood clots in response to the increase in oestrogen from pregnancy and the baby miscarries - problem solved in effect in my bodies view. I took baby aspirin this time from getting my positive test (I did not get a doctors advice), but this is what they think saved this baby up to this point. I have now been subscribed injectable blood thinners (Clexane) that I will take until 6 weeks post delivery (please god if I get that far).
I know there are a few ladies around here who also have LTTC/ m/c issues, I just wanted to share incase this may be of help.
I hope you don't mind, best of luck to you all in your journeys
