Hi everyone

looking for some support and advice.

There must be more people with possible ashermans syndrome after d&c. just in th midst of 'another miscarriage' life sucks sometimes xx

Hi wantingagirl

So sorry for your loss :hugs:
I have just had my third loss in a row three weeks ago so I agree with the life sucks part.

I have had two D&Cs in 10 months so I do worry about ashermans.

I have a hesteroscopy scheduled in May where they will be looking at the shape of my uterus and they will check for any scaring etc while they are there.

So I don't have suspected ashermans but it is something that they will be looking for at my next appointment.

May feels like ages away. Praying they can move my appointment forward. They are going to try their best. All my other results will be back way before then.

Good luck with your appointment. Not long now :flower: .

I have concerns about Asherman's as well. I'm having a 3d ultrasound on Thursday with Adrian Lower in London who is a specialist. Can't wait to get some answers. I'm terrified.

Good luck louoscar!
My appointment has been moved forward to 14th March. Can't wait to get it over with!
Let's hope we all get those answers that we need :flower:

Trying4first1 Hooray that they could move your appointment forwards. Is it NHS? I'm so nervous for my appointment. I'm worried that because I've gone private he will just say there is scarring so that I have to pay him for the operation!! How cynical am I?!

Hi LouOscar :hi:
Yes we are having it done on the NHS. So shocked that it's all happening so quickly.
Hahaha I would be exactly the same. I worry they are just out to get money. I was going to go private for additional tests if all comes back clear. But worry they will say something is wrong and actually be making it all up. When is your appointment?

I had my appt and the 3D ultrasound showed clear. he was concerned about the 2d ultrasound not showing a completely clear endometrial stripe. However I've found pictures from a scan I had in January and the endometrial stripe is clear so I don't think I've got ashermans...if I do it's very mild.

He suggested a hysteroscopy which I have booked for 22nd. Although I just got a BFP today but last cycle I had a chemical so I'm not cancelling the appt yet...might still need it.

Good luck for tomorrow!

Hi Lou! So glad all went well and congrats on BFP!

My hysteroscopy was clear yesterday. Me and DH will ttc again soon, hopefully next cycle. Just hope it doesn't take as long this time.

Keep us updated. Praying for a sticky bean for you!

So glad your hysteroscopy was clear!! Did you take antibiotics in case of infection from hysteroscopy?

They didn't give me any  I didn't think to ask either. I don't think they give them out?

No they probably don't. They didn't even give me any for my ERPC in the first place...hence the infection and then scarring.

I messaged the private guy I saw and asked if the scarring he saw would cause me to miscarry and he said no. So at least I can push that out of my mind.

Yeah same. I had cervicitus After my first D&C but u sure if it was related I'm going to get tested again next week to make sure I'm all clear as it stopped me from conceiving last time.

That's good news 😊 Defiantly some reassurance which is what you need
