Possible ectopic

i am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant with #1,

I have pcos and have been ttc for 16 months....have had 3 HCG levels done and they are not rising as they should be.

they were at 70 today
50 friday
and 16 last mon....

i had convinced myself that im heading to MC but the docs have now told me that it doesnt look likely that i will MC but that its one of 2 things

1) Im just one of the women that their HCG takes a while to rise in early pregnancy

2) its possibly an ectopic pregnancy

They have told me to come back in a week and have my bloods retested as they should see a good rise then.

i have never been so terrified in my life. all i want is to just be able to have a healthy pregnancy and our baby at the end of 9months. I have no idea wat to do and im so powerless.

has anyone else been in a similar position please that could offer some advice...im going out of my mind with worry!

I am so sorry you are going through this!

I had slow rising HCG with both my ectopic and previous mc. But each case is different.

All I can say is rest as much as you can!! dont stress yourself or your body. make sure you go to the emergency room if you have any pains. Dont worry about the drama queen label. just go.

I am suprised they are not carrying on the tests every 48 hrs. As them if they will?

did they say when they will scan you?

cause of my history i was scanned at 4+5 ths time and they saw a sac in untro.

push for more bloods i say! ( i am a bossy cow though)

hi hun thanks for ur reply, sorry for ur losses. I have had 2 scans now, the ltest has put me at 5weeks 2days, they saw a gest sac and wat they think is a yolk sac in my womb...they have said they wont rule out ectopic until they see a HB so we go back next week for another scan. Had a few pains yest and went back, dr stated that it is highly unlikely to be ectopic since everythin was spotted in the right place. levels started doubling last week and have continued to. so hopefully i was just very early on when i found out.
