So I'm kind of starting to freak out a bit. I've been having some pretty bad pains in my ribs/solar plexus area and just to the right along with a bunch of other symptoms. Well I finally went to the doctors and they think it's probably my gallbladder and that the pains I've been feeling could be attacks. The blood work came back clean while I was in the ER, and wednesday I went in for an ultrasound on my gallbladder, spleen and pancreas but I haven't gotten my results back yet and the nurses wouldn't really answer any of my questions about what would happen or what I would need to do if my gallbladder is causing and issue, since that's something I'd have to discuss with my doctor.

I'm worried it's going to cause some issues with the pregnancy, especially since the pains have gotten worse as the baby has grown and right now the pain is barely tolerable and I still have a while to go yet. I don't really know much about gallbladders, other than my neighbor had to have his removed when his started acting up, and doing research online has just added to my paranoia. Anyone here have any issues with their gallbladder while pregnant or know of someone who has?

Im sorry i cant put your mind at rest. Im 29+5 weeks and currently laying in hospital due to severe right side pain and pumpin headache. I dont have raised bp or protein so i think theyv ruled out pree. However they do know that i have a gallstone so would also like to know.. What were your other symptoms xxx

I went in to the doctors today and my ultrasound results came back clean so there's nothing wrong with my gallbladder, so my doctor is thinking that my ribs expanded too much and one has popped out of place. The symptoms I'm having are burning pains, itchiness and the skin feels numb, like I've had an ice pack on it for too long and all I can feel is pressure. The doc says that the burning is probably my nerves being over stretched or pinched from the rib displacement.
