Possible hernia after a c-section?

Hi,

I am hoping to see my GP tomorrow about a hard lump I keep feeling, it's like a ball of solid mass, similar to the size of a golf ball and it lays under my skin under my belly button or somtimes just above. It isn't visible but I have felt it on and off since the birth of my second daughter almost 6 months ago, she was delivered by planned c-section as my first daughter was but I don't recall feeling any similar type of mass ball.

I googled what it could possibly be and keep coming up with 'incisional hernia', however this solid ball isn't close to where the c-section cut was made, it's above it. It doesn't hurt but when I feel it (only when laying down) it does unerve me quite a bit.

Anyone experience similar?

You didn't have clexane injections at all did you? I have hard lumps where I had these injections and was told they may never go, Grrr!!
