Warning for a lot of detail.

I am at a loss at what to do so I thought I'd give this a try. 6 Months ago I miscarried without knowing i was pregnant because it happened very quickly and as far as I am aware that all completed and I have been through the awful 1st period after and started to have my periods go back to normal for the last few months. I am unsure if this is related to that, but just to give some back ground.

Wednsday morning I woke up with severe pain in my lower abdomin like I have never felt in the specific area. For about 2 hours i was in a ball until it got so bad I began throwing up. I missed work and the pain and nausea was on and off throughout the day and by the time i went to bed the pain was left in my thighs and sides of my hips kind of like my legs had been pulled apart to far. Early in the morning I began bleeding as i would for a period which was due about that time but continued to be in pain. The pain stopped within a couple days, but my period has been clotted and more painful than usual and not on its typical routine.

My question is if this sounds concerning? Or am I over analyzing? I had thought i was pregnant before it began because of some cramping around what could have been implantation time and extreme nausea that hasnt stopped since then which is my concern for ectopic.

I'm sorry you're going through this. :( I have never had an ectopic but I have had a few miscarriages. Maybe someone else can be more specific, but I think that if you were pregnant it would still have been pretty early and unlikely that it would have caused the tube to burst or anything quite yet. I could be wrong though. My miscarriages were never quite as intense as you're describing , but every woman is different. I did definitely notice a difference in my periods following my losses. They would get heavier and with more clots, like you said.

If it continues to be this way, I'd definitely get checked. After my first loss, they thought everything has passed but 2 months later I was still bleeding and eventually passed a last bit of tissue that was still hanging on. With you being 6 months past your first loss, I doubt that's the case, but just sharing my experience.

I hope that was some help. I know how confusing and hard this can be. :hugs:

Thank you, anything helps. I am having trouble figuring out how to get everything checked without a huge bill so I am trying everything I can just incase I am overreacting you know. We werent actually trying to conceive then or now because of the distance we want our kids, but in October and now we did not pull out entirely to close to ovulation the previous month. I just dont want to ignore something and end up messing anything up since we do really want more.
