Possible short list of names

So, I have a possible short list of names. I'm sure these will change completley before he's actually here!! But as time is ticking down, they've given me a maximum of 5 weeks before they do a c section, if not sooner, thought it was about time I chose a couple!! Let me know what you think!!x

Joshua or Jack. But I like J names. My nearly 3yo is Jake, and this one will prob be a Jamie x

Lovely selection of names. I like Freddie best but only as a short form for Frederic, which would have been one of my choices had not my friend taken it already. So I voted for Joshua.

Middle name is most likely going to be James. Told fob if he's happy for lo to have my surname, I'm happy for him to have his middle name (James). I know he doesn't really deserve it, but he had no choice in the names of his 2 other little boys, his ex wife chose them. x

_lexi_ - you are FAR more understanding than you should be but it goes to show you're a lovely person. And on the plus side James isn't a hideous middle name so it can kind of be seen as win/win and it's always good to keep him on side a little! If things change once he's here FOB can never say you were a bitch etc!

After reading that his middle name will be James, I chose Joshua. I think Joshua James sounds nice and I love having JJ initials. Still deciding on Jayden's middle name but I'm really thinking of going with James. Only thing is, if he has his dads Surname his initials will be JJB. Like the sports shop. lol.

I just think at the end of the day, it is still his son. I don't want him taking his surname as when he starts school etc I don't want to be miss rider, and he's ... Easter. x

I totally agree - I think James is a nice middle name and you get the main part! lol he most certainly doesn't deserve bub having his surname so I think you've found a good compromise leading to no arguments. Plus - your surnames a lot nicer anyways!

Gosh the name game is SO hard, we haven't even started thinking of names yet

I'm just worried about names he suggests, that they might be ones he suggested with his ex. She's quite spiteful, I don't want him to be born, name him, and for her to turn round and go "oh yeah, he suggested that for ours but I turned it down". It's the sort if thing shed do unfortunately. It's so difficult x

If my LO is a boy his middle name will be James (OHs and OH's fathers middle name).
I personally dont like repeating sounds/letters, so while I love the name Joshua, I dont like it with James.

My vote was for Oliver...I LOVE this name (it was on my short list) but my OH doesn't like it...

I don't know why... But I just see your little man as a "zachary". It stands out for him in my opinion

My LO if it's a boy will have the middle name James after my DHs middle name .......I like Freddie best but prefer Zachary with the middle name James. X
