My family has often jokingly called me "fertile myrtle:, because i got pregnant with my first child the very first time i had sex, and got pregnant with my second baby as soon as i decided to try conceiving.
But now after 3 years of trying for number 3, i feel more like an "infertile myrtle".
My SO thiks we dont need a fertility specilaist, because after all i have 2 kids so there is no way i could be infertile, and that i just need to "relax".
(im sick of people telling me to relax).

After i gave birth to my son, i hemorraged one week post-partum and had a blood transfusion, because i lost a great deal of blood.
I was checked out while in the hospital and they couldnt find a reqson for the blood loss, nor did they detect any damage to the uterus, but i w3onder if there IS damage to the uterus and they just didnt catch it?

Could previous childbirth complications cause secondary infertility?

IslandMommy, normally bleeding postpartum is cause by the uterus not contracring down well after birth, sometimes because of some placenta material or infection. Damage to the uterus is very rare, and you would have definately known about it at the time you had your baby. Uterine rupture is a major complication and an emergency. Your bleeding would have been from the placental site, not from a damaged uterus.

Can you get the usual tests done at your GP's then get a referal to a fertility specialist?
